TRT-RS changes date for resumption of single and evidentiary hearings.

The Regional Labor Court of the 4th Region (TRT-RS), which is part of the administrative structure of the Brazilian Judiciary and legally bound by the determinations of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), the Superior Council of Labor Justice (CSJT), and the General Inspectorate of Labor Justice (CGJT), has aligned its schedule for resuming hearings with the dates set forth in Article 16 of Joint Act No. 6/2020 of the CSJT and the CGJT.

Article 6, item IV, of Joint Ordinance No. 1,770/2020 has been updated to read as follows: "from May 25, 2020, single and evidentiary hearings may be held in all proceedings."

The change is set out in Joint Ordinance No. 1,922/2020, published this Thursday (7).
